From the supplier: State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. filed in California Superior Court on Apr 25, 1996, to prevent the CA insurance commissioner from collecting $172 million in rebates and interest claimed under Prop 103, approved by voters in 1988. In a series of actions opposing efforts by the state to roll back automobile insurance rates, State Farm claimed the company lost money in 1989. The rebates were calculated to return profits in excess of 10%.
